The Candoo Racing Team

Meet the Team

The CanDoo Racing team is made up of dedicated and experienced motorsports pros from across the Americas. Our team has spent countless hours refining and honing our technologies, equipment and strategy to bring a high level of perfromance and wins to our fans.

Jimmy Diaz CanDoo RAcing

Jimmy Diaz

Jimmy was born and raised in BCS.  Jimmy cut his teeth on quads as a kid in San Bartolo.  While it may have been more running away from someone than racing toward a finish line, it laid the foundation of fast and efficient driving.  Jimmy and El Burro have won many races in the Baja.

Alan Gillette

Alan is from Wisconsin and is the new “old” guy.  Alan has been with CanDoo Racing since 2021.

Coy Pfaff CanDoo Racing

Coy Pfaff

Half of the brothers Pfaff, the pair live in Oregon.  Coy has been driving quads in the Baja since he was 3 and has been with CanDoo Racing since 2017.

Anson Pfaff

Anson has also been driving quads (always with flames) in the Baja since age 3.  Anson started racing SRF3 in 2014, slowly trickled in some sports cars, and formula cars in 2018.  In 2022 Anson started moonlighting as a stunt driver for a Canadian television production company.  Anson has been with CanDoo Racing since 2017

Stu CanDoo Racing

Stuart Barr

Simply put, without the support, leadership, and stewardship of Stu, CanDoo Racing would not and could not exist.  Stu has been a fixture in Los Barriles for decades.

Bruce Cook CanDoo Racing

Bruce Cook

Bruce Cook started riding dirt bikes at the age of 5 in his home town, Kelowna, BC. When a high school teacher told him Freestyle Motocross couldn’t a viable career path, Bruce set out to prove them wrong, by way of a motto that would shape the rest of his life; Never Say Can’t.

During Bruce’s Freestyle Motocross career, he toured internationally, competed in X-Games and joined Nitro Circus. While attempting the worlds first double front flip at a Nitro Circus show in 2014, Bruce under rotated and was paralyzed from the waist down.

Bruce again chose to Never Say Can’t, and within 11 months, became the only paraplegic in the world to land a backflip on a dirt bike. He has continued to tour internationally with Nitro Circus, race UTV’s on the Baja Circuit and perform stunts on shows such as America’s Got Talent. Bruce is in the fourth season of a TV series that follows his life as he creates ways for other people with disabilities to experience adventure and adrenaline with the Bruce Cook Foundation. Bruce’s involvement in extreme sports, helping others and inspiring attitude garner millions of views annually across Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, and traditional television.

The Crew

At the finish line the driver takes all of the glory, but without the hard work and dedication of the crew we would never get to the start line.  Our crew consists of family and friends that give everything to this team.  The countless hours of work and late nights from our crew are the heart & soul of this team.
